Hinojosa Packaging Group, a leading company in sustainable packaging solutions, launches the third edition of its Graduates Programme, a strategic initiative to attract the best young talent to the packaging sector. This aims to identify and train future professionals who wish to start and develop their career within Hinojosa.
The main objective of this programme is to facilitate recent graduates’ transition into the world of work, accompanying them in their first steps as professionals in this growing industry. According to the Spanish Association of Pulp, Paper and Cardboard Manufacturers, the sector generates around 300,000 jobs directly and indirectly, representing 12% of the workforce in the industrial sector in Spain.
Development in an international environment and experience-based growth
In its third edition, the Graduates programme will incorporate 12 new young people into the organisation, which offers participants the opportunity to develop in an international environment. Hinojosa currently has 25 plants located in Spain, France, Italy and Portugal, allowing participants to develop a global business vision and understand the opportunities and challenges of the international market first-hand.
One of the key distinguishing factors of this programme is that it allows young people to grow and promote internally within Hinojosa. To enhance their skills, recent graduates from business and engineering backgrounds lead a project in one of our plants, while receiving training in technical and managerial skills. In addition, each participant is part of a mentoring and accompaniment programme throughout the project, facilitating their integration into the company and supporting them in their professional development.
A consolidated programme: a review of previous editions
Since its inception, the Graduates programme has been instrumental in the incorporation and development of young talent within Hinojosa. In its first two editions, 10 of the participants have continued their professional careers in the company, establishing themselves in positions in various areas of the organisation.
Furthermore, Graduates has also had a strong international focus, with participants from varying nationalities. In previous editions, young professionals from France, Italy, Croatia, Argentina and the Netherlands, among others, have participated in the programme, reflecting Hinojosa’s commitment to attracting global talent. In this third edition, the company maintains its commitment to multiculturalism and the incorporation of individuals with an international vision.
Hinojosa Packaging Group reaffirms its commitment to society and young talent, promoting the growth of future generations through this and other training initiatives such as the Hinojosa Chair, in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), and its commitment to the FP Dual training format.
