A pathway to the future
Fields that fuel our vision
These are the challenges that drive us and push us to rethink sustainable packaging from fresh angles.

New materials
Materials other than cardboard and plastic that can be used to create packaging that is kinder to the environment while maintaining the same safety, durability and quality as conventional packaging.
Challenges:
- Plastic-free barriers that protect against grease, moisture and oxygen.
- Coatings, adhesives and dyes that are compatible with fibre recycling.
- New materials derived from renewable and circular resources.
- Scalable solutions that are cost-efficient and meet regulatory requirements.
Smart and digital packaging
Packaging as a source of data, enabling us to connect, track and add value all while protecting the product.
Challenges:
- Mass digital ID for packaging (RFID, sensors, IoT).
- End-to-end traceability and counterfeit protection.
- Enhanced after-sale experience.
- Low-cost product status indicators.
- Integration of packaging data with business and logistics platforms.

Circular economy
Packaging designed to return, whether through reuse, improved recycling or conversion into new resources without losing value.
Challenges:
- Returnable packaging and viable reverse logistics models.
- Single-material packaging that is easy to recycle and free from harmful substances such as PFAS.
- Services that certify packaging traceability and end-of-life.
Operational efficiency and automation
Digital factories that are faster, more agile and generate less waste. Harnessing innovative digital technologies to boost productivity and quality.
Challenges:
- Industry 4.0.
- AI applications in the supply and production chain.
- Transformation of the Technical Office.

New consumption models
The way we buy and consume is changing rapidly due to the rise of e-commerce, q-commerce and omnichannel strategies. Packaging must adapt to these new trends while enhancing the customer experience.
Challenges:
- Packaging suitable for all channels (omnichannel).
- Quick, efficient delivery with light, stackable and transport-proof packaging.
- Simple returns with reusable packaging.
- Online purchases that minimise excess waste.
- Memorable unboxing experiences.
New business and service models
Packaging can be more than just a physical product. We aim to explore service-based business models and open up new channels for customer engagement.
Challenges:
- Packaging-as-a-Service.
- SaaS models.
- New B2B2C, B2C and D2C sales channels.

How does it work?

IDENTIFY
We scout startups and initiatives through open calls, spontaneous applications and our network of partners. If you’re working on a project that could transform the packaging of the future, we’d love to meet you.

EVALUATE
We review your project’s key information – including your team, value proposition, technological maturity and viability – and jointly determine the most suitable collaboration model.

DEFINE THE COLLABORATION
Once mutual interest is established, we finalise the terms of our collaboration in a Technical Report and Partnership Agreement.

GREEN LIGHT
Now the agreement is in place, it’s time to put the necessary resources into action to make the collaboration a success.
